Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
We hope you are satisfied with your purchase. However, if something is not as expected, you may request an exchange or return under the conditions outlined below.
LTN STUDIOS produces many of its items in limited quantities. We therefore strongly encourage all customers to carefully check the Size Guide, measurements, fit information and product details before completing a purchase.
This policy applies to orders placed through the official LTN STUDIOS website and does not limit any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
Return Request Period
For purchases subject to the European Union statutory right of withdrawal, customers must notify us of their decision to withdraw within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.
To initiate a return request, please contact us and provide:
- Order number
- Full name
- Item or items you wish to return
- Reason for the request, if you wish to provide one
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, customers are not required to provide a reason for exercising that right.
Condition of Returned Items
Customers should handle and try on products only to the extent necessary to determine their size, fit, nature and characteristics.
Returned items must be:
- Unwashed
- Unaltered and unmodified
- Free from stains or damage
- Free from odors, fragrances or other evident signs of use
- Returned with original tags and labels, where applicable
- Returned with all accessories originally supplied with the product
- Returned with the original packaging, where reasonably possible, in the condition in which it was received
All returned items will undergo a quality inspection before the return is fully processed.
Quality Inspection and Diminished Value
If a returned product has suffered a reduction in value as a result of handling or use beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and fit, LTN STUDIOS may take into account the actual diminished value of the product, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This may include, for example:
- Damage or deterioration of the product
- Stains or evident signs of use
- Persistent odors, fragrances or other conditions requiring restoration
- Alterations or modifications made to the product
- Missing or damaged tags, labels or accessories where this affects the value of the product
- Damaged packaging where this results in an actual reduction in the commercial value of the goods
Where an actual minor or moderate reduction in value has occurred, LTN STUDIOS may, where justified by the condition of the product and permitted by applicable law, apply a proportionate reduction to the refund of up to 20% of the product value.
This reduction is not an automatic return fee and will only be applied where the condition of the returned item has resulted in an actual reduction in its value.
Where a product has been significantly used, washed, altered or damaged, LTN STUDIOS will assess the actual reduction in value in accordance with applicable law.
Size Exchanges
Size exchanges are available subject to product availability.
As many LTN STUDIOS products are produced in limited quantities, we cannot guarantee that the requested replacement size will still be available when the returned item reaches our warehouse.
All shipping costs related to a size exchange requested by the customer are the responsibility of the customer, unless the exchange is required because an incorrect, defective or non-conforming product was supplied.
Our team is available before purchase to assist customers in selecting the correct size. We therefore strongly recommend reviewing the Size Guide before placing an order.
Sale, Promotional and Final Sale Items
Items purchased during sales, promotions, Archive Sales, Final Sales or end-of-stock events may be subject to different commercial conditions from full-price products.
Due to the extremely limited availability of these products, LTN STUDIOS does not guarantee size exchanges or voluntary replacements for discounted or Final Sale items, unless otherwise expressly stated.
Customers are therefore strongly encouraged to carefully check the Size Guide, measurements, fit and product description before purchasing items in these categories.
The above does not limit any mandatory statutory right of withdrawal under applicable law, nor does it affect consumer rights relating to defective, non-conforming or incorrectly supplied products.
Returns and Refunds
Once the returned product has been received, LTN STUDIOS will inspect its condition before completing the refund process.
Where the customer validly exercises a statutory right of withdrawal, the refund will be processed in accordance with applicable law and will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Where permitted by applicable law, LTN STUDIOS may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's account may vary depending on the bank, card issuer or payment provider.
Store Credit
As an alternative to a refund, customers may voluntarily choose to receive the amount due as LTN STUDIOS store credit.
Store credit:
- Is issued after the return has been received and approved
- Can be used for future purchases from our store
- Is valid for 12 months from the date of issue
At its discretion, LTN STUDIOS may offer additional credit or other benefits to customers who voluntarily choose store credit instead of a refund.
Return or Exchange Procedure
- Contact us within the applicable period and provide your order number and the item or items concerned.
- You will receive return or exchange instructions and the address to which the parcel must be sent.
- The product must be returned within the timeframe required by applicable law.
- Use a tracked shipping service and retain your receipt and tracking number until the procedure has been completed.
- Once the parcel has been received, LTN STUDIOS will inspect the product and proceed with the applicable refund, store credit or exchange.
Please do not send any products back to LTN STUDIOS before receiving the appropriate return instructions from us.
Return and Exchange Shipping Costs
Direct return and exchange shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of an incorrect, defective or non-conforming product, or where such costs must be borne by LTN STUDIOS under applicable law.
Customers may arrange their own tracked return shipment or, where available, request LTN STUDIOS to arrange collection through our courier.
Where the return is arranged through our courier, the following costs apply depending on the country or region of origin:
- Italy: €10
- Europe: €25
- Selected non-EU countries: €35
- Other international destinations: €45
The applicable return shipping cost remains the responsibility of the customer and, where applicable and legally permitted, may be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
For returns originating outside the European Union, any customs duties, taxes, import charges or additional costs arising from the return are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable law.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service. LTN STUDIOS is not responsible for return parcels lost in transit where the return shipment has been independently arranged by the customer.
Original Order Shipping Costs
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies to the entire order, the original standard delivery costs will be refunded where and to the extent required by applicable law.
If the customer voluntarily selected a delivery method that was more expensive than the standard delivery option offered by LTN STUDIOS, any additional delivery costs will not be refunded where permitted by law.
Promotional Products and Gifts
Where an order includes a complimentary gift, promotional product or other item received as a result of reaching a specific minimum purchase amount, returning one or more products may mean that the original conditions required to receive the gift are no longer met.
In this case, the promotional product must be returned together with the items being returned.
If the promotional item is not returned, LTN STUDIOS may take into account the previously communicated value of the promotional product when calculating the amount due, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged upon delivery or different from the product ordered, please contact us promptly and provide your order number together with photographs that allow us to verify the issue.
Once the issue has been verified, LTN STUDIOS will arrange the appropriate replacement, repair or refund in accordance with applicable law.
Where return shipping costs are legally the responsibility of LTN STUDIOS, they will not be charged to the customer.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain categories of products may be excluded from the right of withdrawal only where permitted by applicable law, including, for example, certain personalized products or sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons once unsealed.
Where applicable, any such exclusion will be clearly stated on the product page before purchase.
Orders Outside the European Union
For orders originating from countries outside the European Union, return and refund conditions may vary depending on the destination country and applicable law.
Before making an international return, the customer must contact LTN STUDIOS to receive the appropriate instructions.
Unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable law, any return shipping costs, customs duties, taxes and import charges arising from the return of the goods are the responsibility of the customer.
Final Provisions
This policy does not limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
If any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer protection rule, the applicable mandatory rule shall prevail.
